Aftercare & Tips

Aftercare Treatment:

DAYS (1-7): Wash daily with cool sterile water to remove bacteria, build up of product, oils, and dead skin. (Don't worry, THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)

  • Gently wash the area each night outside of the shower with cool water and gentle soap or an unscented cleanser like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, or baby shampoo. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the area.

  • Rub the area in the direction of your hair strokes for 10 seconds and rinse with cool, sterile water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away.

  • To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.

Moisturize and hydrate

Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of the Tina Davies Aftercare 3 times a day with a clean cotton swab and spread it across the treated area.

  • Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.

  • NEVER put the product on a wet or damp tattoo.

DAYS (7-14)

  • Your eyebrows are going to begin to scabbing and cracking. This is part of the healing process. Keep them dry & discontinue washing them & applying the after care.

DO NOT do the following:

  • Expose fresh skin to the sun (lay out in the sun, go tanning) If you are at the beach, pool, on a boat, etc, make sure that you are wearing a hat/visor to help protect your brows from the sun.

  • Get them wet, take quick showers that are not too hot to avoid steam.

  • Use retinoids or exfoliants on your face.

  • Picking the scabs will result in pulling out the color & scarring, please let them flake off naturally.

  • Sleep on your face, please try and sleep on your side or back.

  • Work out or any activity that could make you sweat.

  • Please do not wear makeup during your 2 weeks healing. You are allowed to wear mascara & under-eye concealer ONLY.

  • Long hot showers for the first 10 days.

  • Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days,

  • Sunscreen on the area, until fully healed.

  • DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area.

After 2 weeks healed:

  • You are able to wash your face with a gentle cleanser and resume your regular skincare routine. Note, you must continue to avoid using the items listed on your Pre-Care instructions.

  • You may resume wearing makeup.

  • Keep in mind that it takes approximately 25-28 days after you are done healing to see the full effect of your brow transformation.

Reminders and Tips:

  • You can use a cotton round, witch hazel, and a baby wipe to clean around your brows while healing or you can use Cetaphil to clean around your forehead & brows.

  • You can use grape seed oil to also act as a moisturizer. Feel free to apply on your forehead, around your brows, eyes, etc.

  • Washing your hair may be a little difficult. You may want to schedule your hair appointment during your 2 weeks of healing allowing you to get a great shampoo.

  • Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep.

  • Avoiding retinoids will help maintain the longevity of your eyebrows.

  • Exposing your eyebrows to the sun will cause them to fade. Wear a hat or visor while you are in the sun and apply sunscreen to them.

  • Although shaping your eyebrows is optional, getting them shaped will keep them looking fresh and their best.
